REJOICE
We rejoice with the angels over the birth of a
brother. Jason
Dearborn, a resident of His
Way, was baptized Sunday, November 20th. Please welcome and
encourage him.
PRAYER REQUESTS
Ř
LaQuinta
Andrews: “Please pray for my friend, Bree. She
is a young mother fighting cancer and recently learned that it is spreading.
Praying for her family and for her peace as she goes through this tough time.”
Ř Gerry Binford asks
us to pray for two of his sisters – Gwen McCombs is in a hospital in
Memphis with pneumonia and Georgia Scott is in a hospital in Montgomery
with health issues. (Update: Gwen is now home from the hospital.)
Ř
Nathan
and Deborah Brown: “Please continue in prayer for Nathan’s
94-year-old father. He fell again last night
(Saturday, November 26th) and was taken to the emergency room around
4:00 this morning. He didn’t break anything, but the doctors said his white
blood count was high. Thank you! We love you all!” (Update: Nathan said
that physically he is slowly getting better, but all the changes in his
location are very bad for his spirits. Mr. Brown is back in his assisted
living place in Decatur. Please keep praying for him.)
Ř
Ed
and Sharon Ditto: “Pray for Allison and Jackson Ledford
as they deal with pregnancy. Welcome home to the Lucas Family and to the
Clarks.”
Ř
Stephanie
Lewis: “My uncle Richard Pierce had a stroke
on Thanksgiving night. He was released from Huntsville Hospital last night
(Saturday, November 26th).”
Ř
Tom
and Selwyn Reynolds: “Please pray for our persecuted brothers and
sisters that they will experience Christ’s presence and not feel alone. Also, Sel’s brother, Joe, is having knee replacement tomorrow (Monday, November 28th).
Pray for success and quick healing.” (Update from Selwyn: “Joe is doing well. The surgery went well, and he has started physical
therapy. I thank everyone for their prayers! If anyone
wanted to send him a card his address is: Joe Williams, 103 Crimson Rose
Drive, Apt 11, Madison, AL 35756.”)
Ř
Doug Turbyfill: “Please pray for Matthew Beavers’
recovery.”
Ř
Toshiko
Wingard: “Doug’s surgery is scheduled this
Wednesday, November 30th. Please keep him in your prayers for
successful surgery and quick healing. Thanks.” (Update: As of this writing Doug
is in surgery.)

ASSEMBLY LESSON SERIES: “THE SPIRITUAL REALMS”
This
series follows an exploration of God and His character by acknowledging our
enemy and his hold in our lives and this world. It is God who conquers the
enemy, not humans, but he has given us abundant wisdom on how to address
temptation, persecution, and injustice in our daily walks.
Theme Scripture: Ephesians
